Art directed and assisted in the design while a student at Elmhurst College.
MiddleWestern Voice (MWV) is Elmhurst College’s award winning Art, Literature, and Music magazine. I was on staff for all four years of undergrad and was the Creative Director for the 2008-2009 school year as well as the 2010-2011 school year.
MWV was announced as the winner of the ACP 2011 Magazine Pacemaker Winners. The website can be viewed here.
The magazine collects student art work throughout the school year and at the end of the spring semester, publishes a collection of the juried work. Aside from the publication itself, MiddleWestern Voice hosts several events on campus to promote creativity and the coming together of the arts on campus.
As Creative Director, I oversaw the design process of the publication as well as had the leadership role over the art staff.
